North-South Commuter Railway (NSCR)

Project Overview

The North-South Commuter Railway is the backbone of the Philippines' $30 billion railway infrastructure programme — a transformative mass transit system designed to connect Clark, Pampanga to Calamba, Laguna through Metro Manila. CMW Asia was contracted through Taisei-DMCI Joint Venture, one of the project's principal construction partners, to deliver scaffolding and facade installation services across multiple NSCR stations.

Our scope focused on the installation of aluminum window systems for key station structures spanning Marilao, West Valenzuela, Bocaue, and Malanday. This required the deployment of certified scaffolding erectors and facade installers who could work within the railway's aggressive construction timeline while maintaining strict safety compliance in an active infrastructure corridor. Scaffolding systems were designed and erected to support elevated station construction, providing safe working platforms for window and facade integration at height.

The NSCR project represents CMW Asia's capability to deliver precision facade and scaffolding work at scale for critical national infrastructure — operating within the stringent quality and safety requirements of a Japanese-Filipino joint venture partnership.
